Organised by the Documentary & Experimental Film Center (DEFC), the 7th edition of the annual documentary festival will be held from December 10-17, 2013 in Tehran.
Bahadur The Accidental Brave traces the Nepalese labour migration to India. Their high risk sexual behaviour makes them susceptible to HIV. The documentary is an in-depth look into the social, economic and political life of the Nepalese migrants.
There Is Something In The Air is a series of dream narratives, and accounts of spiritual possession as experienced by women ‘petitioners’ at the shrine of a Sufi saint in North India.
The Women In Blue Berets follows a special unit of peacekeepers from India – an all-female police contingent assisting in UN’s peacekeeping operations in Liberia.
Mayong: Myth/Reality is a journey to the land of sorcerers, Mayong. In Mayong, 40 km away from Guwahati, the practice of magic has been a way of life since ages.

The Sound Of Old Rooms is about an ordinary Indian man who juggles between his calling for poetry and normal life.
Powerless or Katiyabaaz traces the city of Kanpur, with 15-hour long power cuts and the tussle for electricity. The film recently won the Golden Gateway award in the India Gold Category at Mumbai Film Festival.
