Dear Friends of IFP,

Stories have the power to transform us and our world. 2017 revealed this truth to us again and again in remarkable and unexpected ways.

As we begin the new year, we reaffirm our conviction to telling vital stories and our dedication to diverse, independent voices. We need their transformational stories now more than ever.  We need their artistry to nourish the soul, their insight to shine a light on the truth, and their courage to fight for justice.

In 2017, the Independent Filmmaker Project reached more than a million across the globe and directly impacted the work of hundreds of storytellers. We provided essential resources and connections to independent creators at every stage of development, ensuring their projects would be made and reach audiences both domestically and around the world.

We remain committed to and energized by this important work in 2018, the year that marks the 40th anniversary of our landmark event, IFP Week. We invite you to join us in supporting the indispensable voices of independent creators as we celebrate IFP Week and throughout the year through our array of programs and events.
