Head on over to the Marvel 10 Year Anniversary stand, take photos with the exciting merchandise and next to the iconic posters of its biggest stars! Remember where it all began, and where it’s all going.
- Got superkids? Take them over to the Rani stand where they can jump into a cauldron of Rani chunks, take a photo with the moving wall and so much more!
- Is your friend your SUPERHERO? Put them to the test when one friend controls you whilst harnessed in the air through the Human Claw Machine by Virgin Mobile! Take part and you could be in for a chance to win 2 Samsung S9+.
- Do you love a challenge? JUMBLE are bringing a unique take on the escape experience to MEFCC. Pick your crew and get through the maze against the clock. An adrenaline-fueled adventure not to be missed.
- This year, MEFCC is supporting Kick Cancer, an initiative that raises awareness on cancer using the power of football. Kick the ball that signifies cancer and make sure it lands in the bin. Challenge three friends to do it too, and let them know how early cancer detection and regular check-ups can save lives. Go on and be a real superhero!
- Model hobbyists and Car enthusiasts rejoice! Otaku ME will be hosting a lot of activities including regular races on their circuit on their stand! Not to mention a whole load of great kits available.
- Everyone is a fan of something. Especially MEFCC fans. And so, for the first time Funko and MEFCC have partnered to bring you MEFCC Exclusive Funko Pops! Not available anywhere else in the world except at the Con! Looking for more? Funko are also unveiling Loungefly, a premiere contemporary fashion accessories company that makes unique merchandise with a wide selection of licenses including Disney, Marvel, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, Paul Frank, Crowded Teeth, Peanuts, and more.
- Calling out to all makeup junkies! NYX Professional Makeup is bringing Artistry overload at this year’s MEFCC. In addition to offering complimentary makeup makeovers and quick hair fixes in partnership with Redken & Ted Morgan Salon, NYX Professional Makeup has partnered with some of the region’s best talents presenting live makeup demonstrations, combining the love for films and makeup. Meet Lebanese artist and body painter Michel El Ghoul on Thursday 5th, find out what Hollywood Certified SFX artist Tanios Hokayem has in store on Friday 6th and take a ride into the world of Black Panther with Celebrated makeup artist Manal EL Hage while having your Movie fantasies come to life with renowned NYX Professional Makeup brand ambassador, Sam Boutros on Saturday 7th.
COMEDY, MUSIC AND ILLUSIONS ON THE WAVO MAINSTAGE
- Are you a maestro of cosplay crafting? Or just love oogling the fantastic creations around the show? Huawei’s nova 3e Cosplay Contest will take place on the WAVO Mainstage on Friday from 6pm -10pm, come on down there to cheer the epic and crazy creations by the most incredible cosplayers in the Middle East! You can even take your picture with the Cosplay characters, shot on Huawei’s nova 3e smartphone, and pick up your printed photo at the Huawei booth.
- No more holding the door! Kristian Nairn – Hodor himself - is here to regale you with an incredible DJ set on the WAVO Mainstage. Don’t miss out getting your Game of Thrones merch signed and getting your photo taken too!
- What would happen if the voices of Spiderman, Noctis and Saitama got together and put on a comedy show? Stop wondering and head out to the WAVO Mainstage to see Robbie Daymond, Ray Chase and Max Mittelman put on for a Comedy Skit like you’ve never seen before as L.A.V.A. on Saturday 7th.
- MEFCC fan favorites, The Boxtones, the multi award winning, Universal music signed rock/pop band will take the WAVO main stage on Friday 6th at 6pm just before our annual Cosplay event. Make sure you arrive early at the front to catch them belting out their chart topping hits “Against the Odds” and “City of Mirrors” as well as some new material and something special at the end for all Comic Con fans!

- FOOOOOOOD! The Foodsters Village located opposite the WAVO Mainstage has unreal culinary offerings themed after your favorite characters and movies like the Black Panther, The Avengers, Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy and Pokemon! Expect a wild selection of fast food faves, awesome snacks and culinary creations. Nom Nom Nom.
- ZOOM returns to MEFCC 2018, this time with a bang creating the ZOOM Festival Arena! Follow the ZOOM flags to get a chance to not only make your superhero GIF, but also your very own original comic book cover! And if you get lucky, you might even meet the ZOOM Super Hero, Zooper Dooper ZOOM, who is appearing for the first time ever with his own comic book titled “The Lunch Time Slime Crime.” Finally, catch a Comic Con Zooper Dooper ZOOM t-shirt from the t-shirt cannon shooting throughout the day, comic books with three alternative endings and lots of gifts to take home!

- Get yourself over to the GAMES CON ESPORTS ARENA for a Fortnite - Esports Experience where three lucky members of the audience will get the chance of playing with a pro, with commentary!

Rock up to ROXY Cineclub on Friday 6th at 2:00pm for a preview screening of the first episode of Netflix Original Series: ‘Lost in Space’, a whole week before the rest of the world gets to see it!
