The 38th edition will take place online from August 24th to 30th as part of Films in Progress Lima, a joint event by Cinélatino Rencontres Toulouse and Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP.

Films in Progress (Cine en Construcción) is a professional platform that supports the production of Latin American feature films by contributing to their completion and international distribution. Organized jointly for the first time by Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP and Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse, Films in Progress fosters the interaction between Latin American and European film professionals, promoting the diversity and talent of independent moviemakers.

Films in Progress 38 is part of Cine del Mañana, industry section of Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP hosted in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

This event is dedicated to the memory of José María Riba, founding member of Films in Progress. His energy and vision continue to inspire the creators and professionals of Iberoamerican and European cinema.

In the coming days we will also announce the selection of Foco Perú, a segment of Cine del Mañana dedicated exclusively to Peruvian films in progress to take place online also from August 24th to August 30th within the framework of the 24 Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP.
