Montreal locked down in October: FNC goes virtual

Following the Government of Quebec’s decision to close Montreal’s cinemas and theatres from October 1 to 28, 2020, the FNC team is forced to cancel its physical events initially scheduled at the Imperial Cinema and Place des Festivals from October 7 to 18. The desire to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for festival-goers has guided all the team’s actions and will continue to do so. Rest assured, the 49th edition of the Festival du nouveau cinéma will take place, with almost all the programming available online from October 7 to 31 across Canada. Hoping that our films chosen with passion keep you company all month of October, in the comfort of your living room.
