With the film festival being a hybrid event (virtual and select live in-person screenings), this year's honorees will be honored online and participate in live-streamed moderated conversations. Most of these conversations will be open to the general public, including Q&A sessions with these film luminaries. Plus, an added bonus, they are all free!

| The Drive-In Series launches this weekend at Ala Moana Shopping Center with four unique screenings from family fun, to a beloved musical with karaoke lyrics to peak '80s vampire horror from the pages of your old Tiger Beat! This "sneak peek" is a primer for our HIFF Drive-In series as part of HIFF40! Every weekend, throughout the month of November, Drive-Ins will be held across Oahu, presenting the latest films screening at HIFF40.
Tickets start at $30 for admission for two; $10 for each additional adult (12+) and $8 for each additional child. To keep our communities families safe, we are following strict health and safety guidelines, including a maximum of 5 people per vehicle. For more information, check out the HIFF Drive-In schedule!
