8th Nostradamus report from Göteborg Film Festival: Transforming Storytelling Together

On February 4 the 8th Nostradamus report from Göteborg Film Festival will be unveiled by media analyst and author Johanna Koljonen. The session is presented at Göteborg Film Festival’s online industry platform.

This year’s Nostradamus Report maps out the industry five years beyond the pandemic. The presentation of the report will be followed by a conversation with Tomas Eskilsson, Head of Strategy at Film i Väst on their upcoming European report on public financing.

Public Funding at a Crossroads is a research project by Film i Väst in collaboration with Cine-Regio and Nostradamus and will presented in full in by August/September 2021 .

This session and the 8th Nostradamus report is presented on Göteborg Film Festival’s online industry platform, accessible to all accreditations.

The Nostradamus Project is founded and run by Göteborg Film Festival with support from and in collaboration with the project’s new main contributor Film i Väst. With additional support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond, Västra Götalandsregionen, Creative Europe/MEDIA and Kulturakademin.

2021 Nostradamus interviews

We are proud to announce the nine interviews that form the base of the 8th annual Nostradamus Report, including Filippa Wallestam (EVP and Chief Content Officer at NENT Group), Robert Olla (Executive Director of Eurimages) and Marian Acuña Acosta (CPO & Co-founder at Glassbox Technologies).

The annual international Nostradamus Report looks into the future of the screen industries 3-5 years from now based on interviews with leading industry experts. The 8th report, written by media analyst Johanna Koljonen, will be presented on February 4 at Göteborg Film Festival's online industry platform.

30 film and television professionals have been selected to join the first edition of Göteborg Film Festival’s exclusive training programme Nostradamus Acacemy!

Nostradamus Academy is Göteborg Film Festival’s new exclusive training programme for film and television industry professionals in Sweden. Over three sessions, qualified professional mentors and speakers will provide 30 selected participants new knowledge of industry changes and practical tools to build long-term sustainability.

Course leaders are Johanna Koljonen, author of the Nostradamus report, in collaboration with Bjarke Pedersen from Participation Design Agency.

Nostradamus Academy is supported by Västra Götalandsregione, partnering with Film I Väst, Nordisk Film & TV Fond, Västra Götalandsregionen, Creative Europe/MEDIA and Kulturakademin.
