2021 Romanian Film Festival Seattle Streaming Online November 12th-21st
Announcing THE ROMANIAN FILM FESTIVAL, "Back to Wonderland!” Streaming online November 12th-21st, through Northwest Film Forum’s online platform.
After a successful virtual edition in 2020, the Romanian Film Festival in Seattle brings you back to Wonderland, this time with exclusively new film productions from Romania and Europe. The festival will showcase the creative spirit and resilience of both emerging and more established directors. 2021 also brings the expansion of the festival, with a new branch in Detroit and a partnership with Arizona Romanian Film Festival.
Highlights include numerous US and WA State premieres, including the stunning documentary “The Exit of the Trains,” Directed by Rada Jude; tense thriller “Unidentified,” Directed by Bogdan George Apetri; LGBTQ film “Poppy Field,” Directed by Eugen Jebeleanu; and “Mia Misses Her Revenge” (2020), Directed by Bogdan Theodor Olteanu.
Get ready to cozy up at home with friends and family for a two-week feast of new films that includes Romanian, Moldovan, Czech and European productions. You will also be able to interact virtually with local, national, and international special guests!
