IESAV (Institut des Etudes Scéniques, Audiovisuelles et Cinématographiques) of University Saint-Joseph (lebanon), is preparing the sixth instalment of FICMEC, « Festival International du Court-Métrage des Ecoles de Cinéma » from december 8th till the 11th of 2014.
FICMEC is a festival which main objective is to reinforce Lebanon’s cultural status on the international level, and to offer to the young filmmakers of the new generation from around the world a chance to get together and experience new and different cultures through cinema.
IESAV provides studios and locations for free for the international guests for any type of artistic activity they would like to implement: practical or creative workshops, multimedia installations, conferences or improvised discussions, all of which will help create better artistic, cultural and intellectual exchanges.
P.S. IESAV organizes as well its fourth international seminar which includes local and international researchers and lecturers on the theme of « Penser le Numérique », (Thinking Digital) on December 4th & 5th of 2014.
