Festival L'Europe autour de l'Europe: The Festival's Final Stretch

We only have a few days left before the closing evening scheduled for March 31. But the festival can still surprise you. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover new films, to meet the filmmakers and personalities of European cinema such as Ingmar Bergman Jr. at the Persona screening tonight.

The closing ceremony of the Festival and the announcement of the various Awards of our Competition sections will take place at Les 7 Parnassiens, and will be followed by the screening of La Nuit de Forains in the presence of the son of the Swedish filmmaker.

 
Competition Prix SAUVAGE aux 7 Parnassiens
 
Tuesday, March 29 is the closing date for our feature-length fiction competition. We will welcome Lorenz Merz and Ella Rumpf for the screening of Soul of a Beast (Switzerland) at 7pm.  The Hungarian filmmaker brothers Buharov will be with us for the 9 pm session with their latest film Land of Warm Waters, which will close the march to Les 7 Parnassiens.

As part of the Section Salon Expérimental , the film "Women Minor Speculations" by Nicole Hewitt will be presented in the beautiful space of The Film Gallery this Tuesday at 8 pm.

End of our program Mostra Imaginaires Coloniaux on Wednesday, March 30 at 7:30 pm at the Filmothèque of the Quartier Latin with the screening of the film "Non ou la Vaine Gloire du Commander" by Manoel de Oliveira.

Bergman-Nykvist Cycle / Closing Ceremony
Les Ecoles Cinéma Club /  Les 7 Parnassiens

We finish the Bergman-Nykvist Cycle, with the screening of Persona at 6pm on Tuesday, March 29, at Les Ecoles Cinéma Club and finally with La Nuit des forains during a closing ceremony on Thursday, March 31 at 7pm at Les 7 Parnassiens. The filmmaker’s son, Ingmar Bergman Jr. will do us the immense honour of being present at both screenings. 

We hope many of you will be present this Thursday 31 March at Les 7 Parnassiens at 7pm to discover the award-winning films and celebrate cinema together with the filmmakers over a glass of wine!
