The inaugral Udada Film Festival kicked off officially on Friday the 24th of October at the Micheal Joseph Center. The Udada Film Festival is the first film festival in Kenya to exclusively celebrate women in film. It has been organized by Wanjiru Kinyanjui, a film maker and lecturer at the Kenyatta University. Udada Film Festival will be running screenings at the Goethe Institute and Micheal Joseph Center everyday from 2pm till the 29th of October. There shall be workshops in the morning.
