Black Tulip Award
Seven films are in competition for the Black Tulip Award, the award for the best fantastic film:
February– Osgood Perkins (US)

Creative Control– Benjamin Dickinson (US)
Nowhere Girl– Oshii Mamoru (Japan)
The Tag-Along - Cheng Wei-Hao (Taiwan)
Kristen– Mark Weistra (The Netherlands).
The winner will be announced on closing night on April 23.

The jury consists of Gawie Keyser, journalist and radiomaker, Lauren Murphy, cultural programmer at hotspot Pllek and Joost de Vries, producer of films like The Lobster and Boy 7

Moviezone jury
The youth holds the future, and that’s no different at Imagine. That’s why Imagine has been working with Moviezone, EYE’s educational programme, for several years now. Moviezone has its own jury at Imagine, ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old. The award is a big honour for directors, because it means they managed to reach a young audience with their film as well. The jury will see ten films from all parts of the programme and meet some of the makers. The winner will be announced on closing night.

This year, the jury consists of Arjen de Feijter from Terneuzen (17, also reporter), Iris Vaessen from Mill (17), Kalin Popov from Hoofddorp (18), Fleur Harshagen from Batenburg (16) and Jiska Warmels from Aalsmeer (18).
